Payroll Assistant, Entry-Level

San Clemente, CA

DealerSocket makes it simple for automotive dealerships to manage opportunities and create processes through proactive software technology. 
  • Input payroll adjustments necessary to ensure payroll is processed timely
  • Assist in processing multi-state semi-monthly payroll utilizing ADP WFN
  • Responsible for data entry of employee information including new hires, changes, and terminations
  • Prepare manual pay calculations for terminations and new hires
  • Collect, follow-up, and complete any open timesheet submissions prior to payroll processing date
  • Process ad hoc reports at the request of management
  • Upload files and balance files to source documents for accuracy
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required (vlookup and pivot tables)
  • Data entry skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Preferred skills:
  • Some familiarity with multi-state wage and hour laws
  • Ability to manage time and work under strict deadlines
  • Some college experience a plus
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and interact with employees and management
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

This position is based in our San Clemente office.  

The salary for this position is $16/hour.
