DevOps Engineer II- Python Developer

A System Engineer II (DevOps) needs to be driven to make the organization stronger, faster, better through improved tooling and training. They need to be good at sharing knowledge and understanding concepts in order to enable and level up the rest of the organization.
Build and maintain solutions that enable agile teams to do more
Be an ambassador for the DealerSocket vision of DevOps
Mentor other engineers in development and operations roles
Document both existing and new capabilities
Communicate effectively with team members
Stay current with industry standard tools and technologies
Solve complex software engineering tasks
Follow established coding standards and practices
3+ years in DevOps or System or Software engineering
Experience setting up automated processes from scratch
Familiar with DevOps practices
CI/CD tools (i.e. TeamCity, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab)
Environment Automation (i.e. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, CloudFormation)
Amazon Web Services (i.e. EC2, S3, ELB, Lambda)
Git and related tools (i.e. Bitbucket, Github, Gitlab)
Docker and containerization
Familiarity with system programming languages (i.e. Powershell, Python)
Accuracy and attention to detail
Professional demeanor
Works effectively in a team setting
Works efficiently across distributed teams
Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
